Water Tours in Southampton
There are many ways to enjoy the pleasures of Southampton's water front. You can wander down to Mayflower Park or Town Quay to have a closer look at the cruise liners which may be in port. Associated British Ports contains further information regarding Passenger Cruise Ship Movements.
If you would like to view the ships from the water, there are tours around the harbour leaving from Ocean Village. Blue Funnel Cruises regularly runs short cruises lasting from one to three hours so that you can explore Southampton from the water.

If you want to go further afield why not take a White Horse Ferry to the small town of Hythe across Southampton Water and visit the market on Tuesdays.
The city is also home to elegant marinas and every September sailing enthusiasts of all kinds flock here for the Southampton Boat Show, the largest of its kind in Europe, held at Mayflower Park.
Also in September the pleasure steamers Waverley and Balmoral embark on a number of sailings from Southampton along the South Coast. Contact Tourist Information for further details.
