Southampton Municipal Golf Course offers two superb, well-established courses, challenging for the experienced golfer and at the same time suitable for the beginner. Both courses are set in mature, picturesque surroundings at the Sports Centre in the northern outskirts of the city. The 18 hole course in Par 69 with a total yardage of 6213. The 9-hole course is Par 32 and the yardage is 2395. Both courses are open all year round except for Christmas Day.
Why not try your skills at skiing, snowboarding or snowblading at the Southampton Alpine Centre based at the Southampton Sports Centre at Bassett.

If boating is your interest, the Woodmill Outdoor Centre runs a variety of canoeing and kayaking courses as well as a chance to fish for salmon, trout and sea bass in their salmon pool.
Southampton Water Activities Centre is a purpose built centre near Ocean Village offering a range of water-based courses.
